Please join us in welcoming the new Interrelated Teacher to Peabody-Burns, Joy Dalke! Joy lives in Hillsboro with her husband, Darrell, and their dog Tator. They have 2 adult children, Alex and Faith. Their son, Alex, is getting married in October to Jayden. Joy has been in Education since 2014 where she started as a para professional while going to school. She worked at OASIS for 8 years and most recently at Hillsboro High School last year. Joy is looking forward to being PBHS staff this year!

She is coming to us from Burrton where she taught for the past three years. Her previous seven years were spent in Plainville. Please join us in welcoming out new English Teacher to the Jr/Sr High School, Erin Whiteman! Erin and her husband have 3 daughters ages 13, 6, and 4 who keep them very busy with all their activities. They also have 1 dog and 2 cats, and a random stray animal roaming around in the country. When Erin is not at the kids’ activities, she likes to spend time with family and friends, watch the KC Chiefs and K-State Wildcats play football, and read a good book. She's excited about this new chapter and looks forward to a great year.

Back to School Enrollment, Aug 3rd, 10 am to 7 pm at the High School
On September 20th at 3:45 pm, USD #398 will be hosting a Naloxone (NARCAN) Training at the Elementary School. This is open to the community to attend. If you would like to attend please let Ms. Root know, (aroot@usd398.com or 620-983-2198) so that we can have enough materials ready for everyone. The training lasts about an hour.

He currently resides in Hesston with his wife and kids. Mr. Frantz brings a positive outlook on how he can motivate students to a healthy lifestyle. He has a heart and passion for education and students who may not always excel in a school setting.

She has a Bachelor's in business management with a minor in accounting from Wichita State University and is working on her Masters in Education. Evie lives in Wichita with her dog and two cats. Her background is mainly focused on customer service, but she comes from a family of educators, so is well prepared for this new chapter of her life.

Please help us in welcoming our new math teacher, Gail Kliewer! Gail and her husband, Lawrence, are living on the farm she grew up on, 15 miles from Peabody. Her summer activities include Biking Across Kansas and backpacking in Colorado. When she's at home, she spends time weaving and sewing. She graduated from Tabor College with a degree in Education. She is looking forward to teaching math at Peabody-Burns.

Miss Jurging recently graduated from Kansas University and has been in a kindergarten classroom gaining hands-on experience through student teaching.
