Our art students did such a great job at the Wheat State League Art Contest.
We had three students get awarded for their artwork. Ariana Marcenaro received a third place metal in acrylic painting and a Merit ribbon award in graphite drawing; Conner Callahan received a third place metal in watercolor painting and a merit ribbon award in acrylic painting; then Mason Schrieber received a merit ribbon award in photography!!
We are very proud of all of these amazing artists. The students had a really great time today and they truly enjoyed getting to experience this art show! We have some very talented students here at Peabody-Burns!

Congrats to the Warrior Forensics team on their success last night!! Stacy placed 5th in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, and 3rd place in Informative Speaking. Logan placed second in Poetry and has qualified to the State Speech Championship!


Junior and Senior parents, please remind your child that prom RSVPs are due next Wednesday, April 13. Outside prom guests' forms and fee are due at that time as well.

Best wishes to our high school band and choir as they head to Branson for the weekend!
They stopped by the elementary school on the way out of Peabody to share a few songs with PBES students.


UPDATE
- Baseball will play against Haven on Thursday, March 31 at 4 pm. Field conditions may be an issue so there is potential for it to be rescheduled.
- Due to scheduling conflicts, Friday's softball game against Haven has been rescheduled for April 26 at 4 pm.
- JV Baseball is scheduled to play Marion on Friday, April 1st at 5 pm.
These three games will be played in Hillsboro

Today's baseball/softball games were postponed due to the weather. Games will be made up as follows...
Baseball vs. Haven on Thursday, March 31 - 4:00 pm
Softball vs. Haven on Friday, April 1 - 4:00 pm
Both games are in Hillsboro
There is also a JV baseball game on Friday at 5 pm vs. Marion

Let's welcome back NASA Astronaut and former Peabody-Burns Warrior, Nick Hague! We are extremely excited to have Colonel Hague come and speak with our students and community Wednesday, April 6. Please join us at the PBMS/HS at 10:30am in the Brown Gymnasium hear all about Hague's mission to the International Space Station.
